Here are directions from site to our home in Madison. There are two ways given here: The first is simpler, but farther. Cnut says tbey're equally fast. I'll make up directions and maps to have at site.

First way:

Hop on Highway 151/18 and cruise east. (Probably labeled 151 North.)
Go a long ways to Madison.
Stay on 151 North when it meets the Beltline. This means you will turn right and go East again.
Go a long ways since you are going all the way around to the east side of town.
Take highway 30 exit. Head west into town.
Keep going straight on 30. 30 will turn into a street named Aberg. Aberg T's at North Sherman street. Go right on North Sherman.
Go through the next light (which is Schlimgen St. to the left and a diferent street on the right).
Turn left on Almo St. which is the next left. (This corner can be hard to see in the dark. It's across from a tavern. If you end up with a large dark park on the left you've gone too far.)
Go strait on Almo through the first funny 6-way intersection. At the next intersection turn right onto Arrowood.
1514 Arrowood is the second house on the right, covered with a rock siding. Park on the street or in the driveway.

Second way:

Hop on Highway 151/18 and cruise east. (Probably labeled 151 North.)
Go a long ways to Madison.
Stay on 151 North when it meets the Beltline. This means you will turn right and go East again.
Take the John Nolan exit. This is a pretty tight curve, 25mph speed limit, be careful!! This will take you between the lake and the bay, and by the Monona Terrace convention center which forms be a 3-lane bridge/tunnel over the road.
After the tunnel the second light is for East Washington St -- also 151 North again. (You could have stayed on 151, but it has more turns, lights, and traffic than the John Nolan route)
Sometime in the next 5 blocks turn left, go two blocks, and turn right onto East Johnson. (If you pass First street you've gone too far, turn around and go back a block)
On East Johnson you'll cross a little rainbow bridge that makes your stomach thump, be in the left lane because the next light is Fordem where you turn left.
As you go on up Fordem, it changes names to North Sherman (it won't bother to tell you when it does). You'll pass the intersection with Aberg, and Malcom Shabazz high school, both on your right. After these two there is a light, the cross street will be called Schlimgen on the left. The next left is Almo St. Turn left on to Almo.
Go through the first intersection (where 6 streets meet) to the second intersection which is with Arrowood St. Turn right. 1514 Arrowood is the second house on the right.

Eager to see you all and sing with you!
Roisin
